Augusta Room

The Laurel Creek community is introducing a new clubhouse facility for the residents of the community. This Augusta Clubhouse will provide residents a facility for birthday parties, hosted receptions, reunion gatherings, neighborhood social clubs, and many other recreational uses.

 

Located on the grounds surrounding the Augusta Clubhouse will be a golf putting green, shuffle board, grill and patio, playground, and other amenities. This added amenity to Laurel Creek gives the residents an opportunity to have their own gathering facility. Whether it is an adult function, or a function with children, this facility will meet and exceed the needs for any specialized event. Simply reserve your date with the Laurel Creek Social Coordinator, and the Augusta Clubhouse is ready for your event.

The Magnolia Room and Swim and Tennis Center

The Magnolia Room and Swim and Tennis Center will be located just inside the entrance to the subdivision. Members may reserve the Magnolia Room for special events or receptions. The Swim and Tennis Center will offer members and their guests many enjoyable recreational activities. The swim facility includes a Junior Olympic 25-meter Lap Pool, Gadgets and Gizmos Play Pool, 109-Foot Figure-Eight Water Slide and children's wading pool.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Walking Trails and Green Spaces

In addition to the Clubhouse, Laurel Creek features an extensive walking trail system that meanders throughout the property, allowing residents to enjoy nature in an unspoiled setting. From the onset, our land planners assisted us in designing and developing this community with tree preservation in mind. This planning has allowed us to keep green space buffers throughout the beginning phase. These buffers will allow us to keep a natural setting behind many of the home sites and will also provide space for beautiful walking trails and pathways.

 

Shopping

The Northwoods Square shopping center is located approximately one-half mile from the entrance to Laurel Creek. There you will find a Harris Teeter grocery store with a full-service deli. Other shops include a bank, video rental shop, Papa John's Pizza, Jersey Mikes Sub Shop, and hair and tanning salons.
